G4Free Ultra Lightweight Review
G4Free 40L Ultra Lightweight Foldable Travel Hiking Backpack (Review)
- Lightweight & Foldable
- Water & Tear Resistant
- Large Capacity
Not So Good Points:
- No Back Padding
- Stiff Draw Cord
- No Hip Belt
If you’re looking for an affordable backpack that transforms easily from a compact zipped bag into a lightweight and large ruck sack (40 litres) the G4Free 40l ultra lightweight backpack could be the one for you.
Not only simple to unfold, but even better, it folds back quickly and easily for storage and travel and has its own rather dinky top handle.
The rucksack itself has an almost ‘Tardis Like’ quality in its ability to hold far more than you would think possible.
It has a top loading pouch with a draw string lock which makes it possible to secure the contents, large or small!
A really useful feature is the thick, water and tear resistant fabric along with the double sided pouch on top for safer storage of your valuables.
The foldable design of the pack does mean that there is no padding at the back but the straps are both adjustable and padded making it comfortable and light.
This backpack is suitable for many uses from an extra piece of kit to tuck away in your suitcase to a stand alone rucksack for longer trips and hikes.
Water & Tear Resistant
Made from a thicker than usual fabric making it resistant to water and tearing.
Lightweight and easily foldable. Re-folds into compact hand-held carry bag.
40 litre volume but just 450g in weight with plenty of storage pockets.
