Overboard Classic Backpack
The Overboard Classic Waterproof Rucksack Review
- 100% Waterproof
- Easy ‘Fold & Seal’ System
Not So Good Points:
- 1 Internal Compartment
- No Waist Strap
- Sternum Strap Not Female Friendly
In this Overboard backpack review I want to address some of the important elements of the backpack to help you decide if it’s the right one for you.
This Overboard Classic waterproof Backpack does ‘exactly what it says on the tin’ – it is 100% waterproof and actually floats safely in water if you happen to drop it overboard!
This makes it brilliant for all water based sports but also great for camping, hiking and even the daily commute – keeps your kit dust and dirt free and most importantly dry.
It is all very clever, with the construction based on’ high frequency welding’ ie, there is no stitching or tape to leak from.
There is a simple ‘fold and seal’ system to open and close the bag, no fiddly zips to get stuck or break, but it does only have one large internal compartment ( no separate sleeves or pockets inside), and one large out elasticated mesh side pocket for bits and pieces.
As far as comfort is concerned it does have good comfortable light weight straps and a seriously smart engineered air vent system on the back which lets the skin breathe, incredibly useful especially in warmer climbs!
Good features and excellent value for money.
Protects your kit from water, dust, dirt and sand.
Lightweight & Comfortable
Lightweight straps and engineered air vents allow your skin to breathe.
‘High Frequency Welding’ means no stitching or tape is used therefore no leaks!
